Marianela Ramirez is an Oriental Medicine Doctor, Diplomate by the NCCAOM in Oriental Medicine- Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
She specializes in Neuro Acupuncture.by the Neuro Acupuncture Institute in Santa Fe New Mexico, and certificate as Functional Medicine practitioner by the Institute of functional Medicine.
She Graduated from the TCM medical school, Texas Health and Science University, followed by a Doctoral Degree with pain management concentration from AOMA School of Integrative Medicine in Austin. Building on her doctorate in pain management, she undertook advanced techniques courses on distal acupuncture, Master Tung’s acupuncture techniques, and micro-bleeding methods.
Her doctoral dissertation was a Clinical Study of TCM Acupuncture on Anxiety Disorders. Her undergraduates’ studies include two bachelor’s degree one on sciences and other one in Physical Education with a concentration of special Education. from University of Puerto Rico, and also graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy.
